Braille: Shades of Gray
Bryan "Braille" Winchester nasce a Portland, nel 1981. Il suo esordio ufficiale da solista avviene con "Lifefirst:half the battle",album registrato tra i 16 e i 17 anni, e considerato un classico dell'underground americano. Nel 2004, dopo aver pubblicato diversi lavori con vari gruppi (i Lightheaded, cioè Braille, Othello, Ohmega Watts e Muneshine, sono forse il gruppo più noto) Braille pubblica "Shades of Grey". Il cd è omogeneo, nessuna traccia è degna di essere skippata, le produzioni ottime e i featuring indovinati. Sono da segnalare, in particolare, tracce come "10 years" con l'ottimo beat di 9th Wonder, "It won't last" con Othello e Pigeon John(tenetelo d'occhio), Keep On, Hip Hop Music, Nobody e Soul Rock. In conclusione, "Shades of Grey" è un gran bel lavoro, scaricatelo, (compratelo, se possibile) mettetelo nello stereo e lasciatevi prendere dalla musica di Braille.
